What is Apokronos?

 Apokronos is a bullet heaven where the player takes control of Dove, an android from the Last Library, as she brings an end to the end. Defeat enemies to gather materials and build various towers as the timer counts down to victory. 

The Lore?

Dove is heavily sought after as she serves as a major databank of the Last Library, an organization that has extensive knowledge and histories of the world. With this knowledge, people can escape reality or even turn back time. At the end of the end, Dove activates the time machine Apokronos to prevent the apocalypse of the future. Though, with great power comes great signals as various raiders begin to pick up on it.

For anyone curious, the background reads:

"We, the Last Library, Give you your last command. Humanity continues to wither and die as the last sun begins to dissipate. Osmic was never a power anyone should have accessed. For all its great power unfathomable, its costs were catastrophic. For every many, woman, child saved, thousands more died covetting it.  Dove, you must destroy the beginning to put an end to the end. Apokronos is the key and you are its vesel. Those that seek us will be vicious. For that reason, I must stand my ground here. I apologize my daughter. Live on for a better future. Be free from the sands and dust of time."
